Big trucks, little boys...

Each Wednesday morning, it's as if Santa Clause himself were making a personal appearance at our front door. Chase is just fascinated by the trash truck and screams with delight each time he hears it coming down our street.

We have a weekly ritual of standing at our front door and waving at the trash truck driver as he does his thing. I suppose in this case, it's a good thing that we live in a city that doesn't believe in building houses with front yards ;) we always get such a great view!

Yesterday I just couldn't pass up this opportunity to snap a shot of my cute little Chase in his mis-matched jammies totally entertained (for at least 17 seconds) by the trash removal process.

ah, this looks just like friday mornings at our house! My neighbor and I have a joke that the garbage men must think we have the hots for them because every week we camp out on the lawn with our little boys to watch them pick up our trash, lol. They always give us a honk and the boys LOVE it!

That is hilarious. My grandma told me that my dad used to have a strange fascination with the trash truck too. She said he always wanted to be a trash man when he grew up so he could go through all the cool junk people threw away and keep it for himself. Isn't that funny? :)
