Kinda can't believe she's six!
My friend Wendy (mother of all boys) needed a girl to model these fairy wings for her portfolio, and I was happy to have some free shots of my girl for her birthday.
What a sweetheart she is---most of the time ;) All kidding aside, I can't even imagine our family without her happy spirit. She's so giggly, girly, lovey, and full of life. She is BIG into singing, jump roping (been told she's the best the Kindergarten teachers have ever seen at her age!), drawing, and rubbing your amrs/hands whenever she has a down moment. She's quick to hold your hand while walking and is the first to give you hugs and kisses. And those eyes. Those eyes! So big and beautiful and lovely. We love her so much and are so grateful to be her parents. What a blessing.

Meg
I met Megan in the third grade, were friends all throughout elementary, jr high, High School and then, she and I were each others first College roomates at Utah State University way back when. Such good memories with her. She's one of those friends who you can not talk to for a while, but just pick back up right where you left off once you do reconnect. I just love her. LOVE.
Her sister (Sarah) and her Mom (Deni) were the "pink team" this season on The Biggest Loser and Megan is in town to be there for the big finale this Tuesday. FUN!
It was so good to catch up with her tonight at dinner, meet her husband Dave (finally!) and see her two adorable boys Oliver (5) and Zane (2) and have them meet my children.

Mother's Day 2011
For the last two years, we've had church at 1:00pm...which makes Breakfast in Bed for Mom on Mother's Day reeeally easy.
So this year due to 9am church, I totally wasn't expecting breakfast this morning, but was pleasantly surprised to wake up to this---even though it was 7ish in the am!
After my honey-nut cheerios breakfast, homemade cards & a groupon for a massage (woop!), I got a big dog-pile hug from my posse. Loved it.
My card from Leda
love the inside: especially the what mommy doesn't like (and she's right on the money)
At church, my boys both gave talks. They did awesome. It was Chase's first time, and yes, I did snap a pic from the back of the room.
After church photo op where I proudly sported my homemade heart necklace from my Leda.
A closer look at my sweet necklace
And once inside our home, the rest of the day was filled with lots of good food--namely my husbands homemade salsa, naps, family time and love.
I'm so grateful for my blessings.
Happy Mother's Day to all the women I love!

Love this!
I just saw this on a friends blog and had to make one for myself. Now...where to use it?
