The McClure boys

My very first babysitting job was given to me by Rick & Lezlie McClure. Their firstborn David was such a cute little guy....and I LOVED babysitting for them. Then they went on to have two more adorable sons: Matthew & Jared. And then my sister & I had three cute McClure boys to babysit for. This family moved away from California to Oregon years ago, but we've always managed to keep in touch.

My mom was a preschool teacher to all these boys, we watched David for them when they went to the hospital to have Matty, and Carrie came home from the hospital with Lezlie to watch a newborn baby Jared so Lezlie could rest. Such good memories!

And today we got to meet up with them for lunch :

Today that little boy---my first babysit-ee David, graduated from BYU. He GRADUATED from COLLEGE. His wife did also. That makes me old, right? I used to change his diapers! Ack! And now he's served a mission in China, married a gorgeous gal Bekah, graduated from BYU and he's off to graduate school in Michigan. Craziness.

I'm so proud of these boys, what they've done so far with their life. What accomplishments! And what a great day with old friends!
